According to the Pedometer++ app on my phone I have taken more than 10,000 steps a day for 140 days in a row. I have to take 10,000 steps for at least six days in a row before I can have a lower step day count. Usually the only reason my step count is lower than 10,000 is that I spent the day driving from one European country to another.

140 days of 10,000+ steps and the distance travelled over the last seven days

I can’t imagine taking just 4000 steps a day.
